Fear is Infectious

If it’s one thing I know that with steal your peace, it’s fear. Fear is destructive. It attacks the very foundation of your faith which is peace. Peace is productive. It quiets and stills us. It helps us focus and move about mentally, physically, and spiritually.

This new virus outbreak has some seriously questionable intent. I think we have been given” information” that is based out of a need to control and it is done through fear. Fear of dying. Fear of getting infected. Fear of infecting someone.

Stay in your home. Don’t go out. Sanitize, sanitize, sanitize. Wear a mask. If you don’t, you’re considered to be inconsiderate.

I had a good discussion with a friend yesterday. We discussed being challenged. As Christians and Americans we haven’t been challenged much with our faith, have we? We really suffer little persecution for being a Christ-follower.

It’s time friends we stop being on autopilot and start thinking. We need to start asking questions of our government and more importantly, we need to start applying our faith.

Death is a hard subject. But it is a subject we should not fear. The older I get the more I understand that death is a portal to freedom. We are bound here to this sinful world. Bound to terms and conditions that I and you would have never agreed too.

Peace is your rock. It is a part of your faith. STAND ON IT! Plant yourselves firmly. Love Isaiah 43:2

Isaiah 43:2 New Living Translation (NLT)

When you go through deep waters,
    I will be with you.
When you go through rivers of difficulty,
    you will not drown.
When you walk through the fire of oppression,
    you will not be burned up;
the flames will not consume you.

Friends “when” you go… it’s not a matter of if… when. And when you do, HE will be with you. When you walk through the fire of oppression (I believe this is happening right now, oppression from our government, from spiritual forces we cannot see) we will not be burned up, nor will the flames consume you. Take heart in that- not burned up, not consumed.

We are in a battle for the soul of this country, for our freedom. PRAY as you have never prayed before! Pray for wisdom for our President whether you voted for him or not- we need to respect that God placed him in authority. Remember we all have sinned and fallen short. God CAN and WILL use anyone he wishes to carry out his will.

Pray against the unseen spiritual forces that seek America’s destruction. Pray for those who are in government who seek our constitutional demise. Lastly:

John 16: 33I have told you these things so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take courage; I have overcome the world!”

-Overcoming fear with courage and peace right along with you.- Michele
